Problem Note 61683: An "IPC_CONNECTION_TIME_OUT" error might occur during the Multiple Allocation Release process
In SASĀ® Merchandise Allocation, an IPC_CONNECTION_TIME_OUT error might occur during the Multiple Allocation Release process. When this error occurs, the Batch Rel Flg displays Error. This issue is likely to happen when 20 to 30 submitted header definitions are selected and released at the same time from Allocation Management.
An example of the error from the catalina.out log is as follows:
Thu Nov 30 16:15:23 SGT 2017 [ERROR] [] com.marketmax.allocationinterface.handler.WorksheetReleaseHandler - Unable to get peinstance server socket to connect.
< Error code="IPC_CONNECTION_TIME_OUT" userMessage="The connection to Merchandise Engine server has timed out. Please try again.
If the issue continues, please contact your system administrator. " systemMessage="Unable to get peinstance server socket to connect." level="4" />
There is no workaround for this issue.
